Default RTCW in linux = shoot yourself while you still have the chance

i hate my life.

all i want to do is play RTCW in teh happy penguin classic mp_depot 24/7 server.

thats it!

it first i couldnt connect to it, because i had 1.41 and the server is running 1.4, fixed that, worked for about 15 minutes, then i got kicked via punkbuster. i attempted to update pb manually, didnt work, the pbsetup.run auto-updater thing didnt fix the problem.

i cant run rtcw in cedega because they kick me for some windows API violation.

finally i fixed the punk buster problem and i have 1.4 installed and it worked for 5 minutes, then it get disconnected for error code: 77

WTF

there are all sorts of permissions problems, configurations NEVER get saved, i have to type my name in every time. EVEN IF I EDIT THE WOLF CONFIG BY HAND!

i cant stand it.
someone help me

edit: and apparently /com_maxfps 333 is CHEATING and i GET KICKED for that!

oh no, wouldnt want to have a faster frame rate, thats CHEATING.

god, at least i have my non-PB enemy territory server to play in, other wise i'd be out of business
