Default resolution settings

chucked fedora core 5 on my laptop but i can only select 600*800 or 640*480 and it really craps me off cos its MASSIVE!!! any way i can get it to the 1280*800 (its widescreen), or a stretched version of something bigger?

Sounds to me like your driver may be wrong. Go to a terminal, run gedit /etc/X11/xorg.conf and paste the contents here.
