Default Removing Linux Drive from XP machine...

I have 3 HD's, 2 for Windows and 1 I recentlly installed Ubuntu on. Well, Ubuntu isn't compatible with a lot of my network stuff so I just want to take it off and perhaps try another distro however- now Windows cannot read this drive because of the different file system etc. so it can't just be formatted. How exactly do I go about removing Linux off of this drive so I can use it for Windows again? Anyone? Thanks.

Try Gparted Live CD. Just D/L the iso image burn it to CD. then you can simply select the partition you want to get rid of and delete it.

you can D/L it here: http://gparted.sourceforge.net/download.php

Also try reading the documentation: http://gparted.sourceforge.net/documentation.php

hope this Helps,

If you have a floppy drive, get an MS-DOS boot CD and format it that way, then format it again with Windows XP.

You can get boot utilities from www.bootdisk.com

It doesn't support NTFS, SATA or most new IDE controllers.

DOS is a waste of time.

Gparted FTW.
