Default removing linux

i have linux edgy 6.10 on my second hdd but i want to remove it. if i unplug the hdd its installed on it says error loading grub 1.5. i have to have it plugged in to be able to use windows and i cannot boot from a cd becasue that grup thing comes up. Please can someone give me instructions on how to remove it. thanks y'all

Set CD to first boot device in your BIOS.

Boot off your Windows CD, select the Repair Console, and then run fixboot, fixmbr, and then exit and restart. That should do it.
