Default removing grub

hello, I have Linux SUSE 10 running on my 2nd hard drive and windows on my 1st hard drive. Now if I want to uninstall SUSE just by formatting my 2nd hard drive Id presume grub would have errors and I wouldnt be able to get into windows :S. How do I get around this problem?

Pop in your Windows CD, and when it gets to the main install menu, select the Restore option (it should be "R"). When the prompt pops up, run fixboot and fixmbr. This will restore the Windows bootloader into the MBR. Then format your Linux partition. Everything should be back to normal.
