Default RedHat Linux download

Hey I am trying to use Linux since it is start growing and would like to try new techs.

I've chosen RedHat. (Quite not knowing....I don't really see any difference between Mandrake and RedHat)

well I am not sure what I am going to download from the page.

i386? or SRPMS?
don't quite get what each of 'em mean.

I am going to install both win xp and linux
in different partition.
Should I install xp first? or linux first?

install xp first, m$ thinks it needs to reformat the whole hdd. i386, you just download the .iso's and create bootable cd's, and you're off.

tpark, the i386 just means there f/an ibm comp pc. (not a mac) after you install xp, boot off your redhat cd @ the prompt hit enter. at the gui install screen select automatic, then select the option that will install redhat to the unused space on the hdd.
