Ok, im kinda a noob at all this but bare with me. Everyone seems to like mandrake much better than red hat, but so far I really like red hat. I havent tried mandrake but is it really that much better? Is there anyone out there who likes red hat too? If it really sucks that bad, how and why is that?

No, RedHat does not suck. I've used 7.2, 9, core 10, and theyve all been nice to me.

Honestly, I have never used a Mandrake distro.

RedHat has altot of hardware support and is one of the most user-friendly distros.

In the end it all comes down to personal preference.

Ok you didn't use Mandrake but work with redHat for a month or two and Try Mandrake.

Then you will see the differnce.

I was working with redHat 3 years.

Is good for server but not much for personal use.
