Default Red Hat 9 on AMD 64 3400

What's up everyone,

I have installed Red Hat 9 on my AMD 64 3400 rig. This install went ok but when I try and start Red Hat I get a technical screen telling me that the Kernel Panicked.

I am not a Linux techie so I don't know (obviously) why this didn't work. I installed Red Hat fine on my Celeron, does Red Hat have a special distribution for AMD 64 comps or something?

Thanks.

I suggest you try installing again. Better yet install Fedora Redhat feeds off of Fedora's greatness. Fedora is much more advanced than Redhat.

There is not a RH9 x64 build available, but there is an x64 build for Fedora.

Let me be the first to say that I do not recommend that you use this.
