Default Recording movie with XGL

Question:

I just set up XGL + Compiz on my Fedora Core 5 compy here....and it is SUH-WEET I can't begin to explain how cool it was to see my windows wobble around the screen...but anyways, I was wondering if anyone has made movies of their XGL desktop before? I'm looking for some software that will do this (preferably freeware) and put the file into a format that can be watched without converting it first (like not a .swf file).

I know someone has done this, I've seen demos.

So you need a program like FRAPS for Linux? I'm sure there is one, I just haven't stumbled apon it yet, as I have never really had a use for something like that. I'll research it and post back if I find something.
