so i will be using linux and i have a few questions.

1. Will i be able to use a wireless card?
2. How can i can i use internet on Linux?
3. Where can i find more information to read about linux?
4. Where can i find programs for linux?
5. Will i be able to use alot of of the same things as windows?
6. And where can i find computer parts that i can use on a linux computer like VGA, and stuff?

1. most likely. still may be a good chance to check your card against one of the may HCLs around the net, not to mention the vendor's site (id go with the community driver if possible, but vendor drivers are nice in a pinch)

2. well, if you currently use wireless, look above. for dial-up there will be the possibility of issues with those cheap pci winmodems they keep making. for cable and some DSL systems, straight DHCP means you just plug in and go. for other DSL providers, PPPoE software and PPPoATM software are available in most distros.
