Default problem installing Etherape on Ubuntu

I have successfully downloaded Etherape on my laptop running Ubuntu.
1) tar xvf etherape... - No problem.
2) ./configure - No problem
3) make - Does not work - I tried "make install" tells me "install" does not exist.

I tried synoptics - it does not show. Aptitute - is not there. Apt-get install - does not work either.

Any ideas?

Marcel

Post your sources.list, you just need to uncomment the universe sources, then you can just apt-get install etherape.

See? http://packages.ubuntu.com/edgy/gnome/etherape
