so im trying to boot slax from a livecd. i put the disk in and it starts to boot up and the following occurs.

it says

starting usb support
creating /dev entries for block devices
waiting for usb devices.......

cant access tty; job control turned off

and it asks me to reboot.

any ideas?

When you first start it up, look for boot options. See if there's a way to get it to init 1.
