Angry pop3 client problems

I'm have a mail server running sendmail that handles the mail for my entire family.

I, personally, use Mozilla Thunderbird to check my mail via pop3. My little brother, as well as my mother, use Outlook Express on their individual machines.

Just today I started getting connection refused errors from thunderbird and my little brother started get connection refused errors from outlook express. My mother however, has no problems at all. On my secondary machine I have no problems. This makes be believe that the problem is not my server, but the pop3 clients that are the cause of the problem.

I have tried re-installation of the pop3 clients to no avail.

Any information, comments, or anything would be greatly appreciated.

Any questions just ask... please!

thanks.
