Thoght some people might wanna check this out:

PCLinuxOS Preview 9.1 is an English only self-booting live cd that runs entirely from a bootable CD without installing anything on your computer. Data on the CD is uncompressed on the fly allowing up to 2 GB of programs on one CD including a complete Xserver, KDE 3.4.1 Desktop, Open Office 1.1.4, Thunderbird 1.0.2, Firefox 1.0.4, p2p filesharing and much more, all preconfigured and ready to use!

Hey guts and Guyettes,

Got it, have used it B4, It is A reworked Mandriva disto, it's pretty Good particularly for those who want A Lighter version of Mandriva, Good to take Away and use while traveling

I Reccomend it!

there is a distro called **** Small Linux which is only 50 mb and it ran nice. Included alot of stuff too.

Yeah, DSL you can set to HDD install or Load completely into ram because it is so small. You can do that also with Knoppix but it says i need like another 10-20mb of ram, lol.

mepis does about the same thing.. and it does it better (it detected most of my laptop hardware but PCLinuxOS did not, as it froze when trying to find my usb something..)..

not good, when linux freezes you know something is very wrong. Eg. Bad Driver or Bad Hardware.
