lol pclinux isthe distro, as said in the title. but yeah every other distro i try gets messed up during installation saying that server x isnt configured right or somthing.

there's nothing wrong with ubuntu. the dapper installer is probably the easiest thing for a beginner. when i installed dapper, all i had to do to get my wireless working was enter my wep key.

I started out with Fedora Core * distros and I found them very easy for the n00b. The Anaconda installer made everything a piece of cake. I've heard Ubuntu is pretty easy to use as well, as ppl have stated above.

i tried ubuntu but it gave me nothing but trouble. pclinux is the only one that worked and i hear that pc linux just sucks.

Just hold on A minute....

you are using PCLinuxOS and it works but it also Sucks???? just so you know PCLinuxOS is Abbr. to PCLOS. i'd say get it install it (.92 version) and decide for yourself.
