Default P4 2.6GHz HT or P4 2.8GHz?

I recently got some used computers, and I have the choice of either using a P4 2.6GHz with HT or a P4 2.8GHz. Which one is better?

Note: I use Debian.

200mhz is not THAT much a difference, so I'd go for the HT ftw (simulated dual core...sorta) on the other hand, many programs dont support HT, so really its your call, either way you prolly wont notice much of a difference

I dont think there is much on Linux that supports HT. So really the choice comes down to do you want the 2.6 or the 2.8. You wont notice that much of a difference. Like nano-seconds worth of time between them.

Overclock the 2.6 to 2.8 or more and call it good.

the Prescott cores that go by the name of P4 HT run much hotter than their Northwood cousins. personally i would get the 2.8ghz and call it done. The HT isn't much faster and there isn't much support for it.
