Are u doing this in A OO spread sheet?

You just want to add em up?

O.K first off you have to go into autopilot - functions, you do this by clicking on the icon on lefthand side of the formula bar, below the font size.

After that (make sure the functions tab ion the top of the box is selected in the catagory drop down box, select Mathamatical.

Select SUM in the FUNCTION list

Click O.K

after this click in the blank space under the figures you wish to add. (say a25)

then click the = symbol to the direct left of the formula bar
( below the i italic button) then click on the green tick symbol where the = symbol was was. Go down to the spot you want the total to go you should see A = sign in the space where you are going to put your total.

then click the SUM button, to the left of the = symbol.

You should end up with somthing lilke this

=SUM(A1:A4)

hit the "ENTER" key. Hey Presto you've added em up

Hope this helps,

Jake
