Question nvidia card manufacturer for linux

who makes good cards with nvidia chipsets? (thats linux compatible)

Any of them, if your gonna use 3d acceleration you WILL HAVE to download the drivers from nvidia, most will run fine in whatever generic driver is selected when configuring X unless your going to play openGL based games.
