How do I get to my ntfs hd in knoppix std?:grind: Help!

mount it in a directory,either an existing directory or make one for it

It doesn't even detect the hard drive.

I wanna know about using sound devices in Knoppix as all he drivers are for windows and i am working through the cd (1st boot drive)

I believe it has a sound setup utility, check dmesg to see if its detected at boot, also check an HCL and make sure its supported,if so just insmod the driver modules, cant remember if knoppix uses ALSA or not, if so,running alsconfig should work too
