Gentoo.

I really like Portage (souce-based package management). A given instalation almost always ends up very streamlined and customized thanks to the manual installation process. I'm no ricer obsessed with optimizing everything to extreme measures, but the way I do things there is still a noticable speed advantage over all other operating systems I've used on the computer.
