The General

Default mount a mac CD

alright i have return to castle wolfenstein for mac, and im trying to mount the CD

mount -t hfs /dev/hdc /media/cdrom0

returns this

gaius:/home/ted# mount -t hfs /dev/hdc /media/cdrom0
mount: block device /dev/hdc is write-protected, mounting read-only
mount: wrong fs type, bad option, bad superblock on /dev/hdc,
missing codepage or other error
In some cases useful info is found in syslog - try
dmesg | tail or so

am i doing this right? should the cd auto-mount like all my other cds?

You can, or also try:

mount -t hfsplus /dev/hdc /media/cdrom
