Default Md5

Hello all I burnt a copy of linux 8.41 and it wont work I am trying to use md5 to do a sum check does any one have the know where to find the code for the linux version I'm looking for?

Hello,

It is available right on the homepage of the distro you downloaded. At least it should be. Just saying you downloaded Linux 8.41 doesnt tell us much. Which Distro? Red Hat, Ubuntu, Fedora, Kubuntu....

Need some specifics.

As i stated it is right on the distro page. Ubuntu has it displayed right on their download page.

Ubuntu 8.04.1 LTS (Hardy Heron)

Hello, shenvoid01.

I believe Ubuntu's install disc has an option to check the integrity of the CD. All this does is check the MD5 of every file on the disc.

If you can't even get that far, then maybe your PC isn't configured to boot from the CD or something?
