i've decided to scrap fedora 2 for a while and try out mandrake 10, i've heard good things about it, so i'll give it a try

it didn't. i got mad, :mad: i had to burn the first disk 3 times, started @ 52x, went to 40x and then had to slow down to 24x just to get the **** cd to boot (that took an hour) and then when it booted up, the max resolution it would let my laptop have was 800x600, i didn't even look at anything, shut the computer off, went to dinner and came back, now i've installed xp and am going to partition and put fedora core 2 on most of the drive...really don't even know why i put windows...just was bored i guess...hahahha

10 is good, but will be better after some time till adjust 2.6 Kernel.



Mandrake 9.2 more of my devices are working. IN Mandrake 10.
they can't start at all.
USB Bluetooth. the lt. modem and so on- with 9.2 NP.

is FC2 better then 1, I am using 1 and am very happy with it...should i go to 2? Is there a 3 coming any time soon?

dude, there's always a new ver....they're probably on fc3t1 right now...hahhah. i don't know i'm still using test version 3.....i lost my fc2 final disks so i had to put this on...there's some problems with test 3 but....ahhh it's all good, i'll install fc2 final sometime....but i really like 2 new version of gnome
