GameGURU is on a distinguished road

Default Mandrake 10.1 Freezes when starting!

Alright, installation went on without a hitch. However when I boot up linux for the LILO boot loader, it says "Booting Linux" and then about 1/16th of the way through...it stops and freezes.

I know this is gonna sound stupid but I had the same thing happen and all I did to resolve it was hit the enter key repeatedly or hold the enter key for a few seconds. After the initial boot from the install I had no other problems booting up after that. As stated, sounds stupid but it worked.

IntelUser101: may be try to create a new topic in the right forum?

there will be no active/inactive drives if one of your primary drive is ext3.. so set everything active and let linux bootloader manage..
