Default Mandrake 10.1

Hello, I have now decided to use Linux and learn to function with it and grow attatched to it. I have done some research on fonts, so I can have everything like Windows fonts, but does anyone know any good techniques or guides to do this?

Also can anyone reccommend me any good books on Linux? Thank you.

also, in your linux distro itself, there's the man pages and docs in /usr/share/docs
