Iam using fedora core 3[ Dual boot with XP] . When I shutdown my system , iam getting a long beep before shutting down. I dont get this beep when I work and shutdown my windows XP .
I know its a problem with Fedora . So what is happening? My hard disk isn't turning off? or is there any other problem? How can I avoid this. I guess there is some damage being made to the hardware while shuttting down linux. any idea?
