Okay, thanks. I have already wasted 2 CDs and I will try your method soon, because I am using nero and I didn't do it like you said.

I can't burn it from my other computer because the CD burner is broken, and I have tried ordering a free CD from their website but it gives me an error  I am having a bad night tonight

If all else fails I will email you, thanks for the offer.

Yeah I have quite a few official Ubuntu LiveCD's and the install I got free from their website. It took about a month but they all got here. I also ordered 300 more

But yeah, I also wouldn't mind shooting a few your way.

I tried ordering CDs from the Ubuntu website but it always gave me an error saying that my email adress was not in the database, even though I had registered. I tried it twice with 2 different email adresses and it still dindn't work.

i'm sure the only kind of file you can download for any distribution is ISO, MD5, and torrent..

still, just choose the right type and you don't have to convert anything any ftp server that hosts distros have to have at least CD ISO (now that DVD ISO are getting popular )
