what can you do with a live cd i heard you can run it on windows and when you done runningn it. you just eject the cd and thats it if im mistake tell me or if im right. how can i do that with my Suse cd i can load linux somethings wrong so i want top knwo about this live cd stuff.

A live CD lets you run Linux off a CD. It doesn't run thru Windows; it does run by itself. You just boot off the CD and let it go.

Unless you have a SuSE CD that is classified as "live" (and there are such things), you cannot use your CD for a live CD.

it is so all i have to do is reboot and run off of the cd and i can run linux without it on the hdd.
