Default Linux for Tanlet pc / laptop.

I am geting given a tablet pc/laptop and I was wondering is there a Linux system that suports a touch screen interface, I am only asking because The one I was training with was on a windows system but was Crashing all the time and I am hoping that I could Find a Linux OS that would supports such a interface to replace it.

Any Ideas or suggestion's?

Check TuxMobil: Linux With Laptops, Notebooks, PDAs and Mobile Cell Phones for your model to see if it is possible, and with what distro.

Thanks folk's I find out what model I get next week sometime my new employer is dragging there feet. let you know how it goes.

EDIT: Just found out I am getting the tablet delivered around the middle of next week, I asked the training manager what model I would be getting he said don't know so that was a bit of a kick in the nuts to me but when I asked him if I could get a machine that run's on Linux this is the response I got "What the **** is Linux?" so I intend to make a recommendation to the company that they improve there IT training and allow users who request it use Linux.
