Im am famillar with Linux, and I have been using RH ES3 on my web server for nearly a year now.

So while my questions are probably considered newbie questions, I do have a basic understanding of Unix commands in SSH.

I need more information about setting up IP tables, and about linking a PHP command to a MySQL database..

Are there any guides that could make that simple for me to understand?
