ok i am trying to use the adept installer and adept manager and everytime i try to use it in getting an error box saying: Another process is using the packaging system database (probably some other Adept application or apt-get or aptitude). Please close the other application before using this one. i rebooted the system a dozen times and i found no other programs using the adept functions, WAT DO I DO TO FIX THIS PROB, PLZ HELP ME OUT!!!11!1111!!1

Have you tried just using straight apt-get or aptitude?

is the auto update manager running? that might be the cause.
