Default Linux Noobie

Ok I am sick and tired of using Windows, so I thought to myself I got a few versions of Linux here but I am a total noob at using it. I guess everyone has to start some where. Anyway I want to mainly use Red Hat 9 and Knoppix (either or). I just recently purchased VMWARE for windows which as some of you know it will allow me to create a virtual machine on my PC. What I am looking for is a good site that has some useful commands to get started in Linux, once I have mastered it I will then get rid of Windows and install Linux properly.

Any help is greatfully appreciated.

Thanks in advance.

It most certainly will. Thanks very much for the help. The sooner I can get rid of this Windows junk then I will be happy.

Once again thanx!
