Default Linux Networking

OK I am a complete Linux n00b, but I wanna network my Linux computer. I'm using Mandrake, and I'm thinking of getting the Netgear wireless PCI network interface card. Does this work in Linux? If so, what do I have to do to make it work? Is it hard?
Remember I'm a n00b.
Thanks!

m3trj,

You shouldn't have any trouble configuring the router because it is a simple .html interface that would work with your browser (I really recommend FireFox by the way) Just make sure that your PCI card has Linux drivers available. You can do some research on the manufacturers website and then make a decision.
