hello there, i was wondering how you instal ubuntu, im planing on downloading it however i do not know how to install it when its downloaded to my hard drive unless i have a cd!. Could someone instruct me on how to do this when ubuntu's on my hard drive

And how do you burn it on a cd? (i mean i know how to burn it but is there somethign else i must doo?

you need a program that burns iso images to disc, this must be done using a special program as just burning the "image" onto the disc won't work. if you look through Ubuntu's forums they should probably have some comprehensive guides to the setup process. are you intending to replace windows or dual boot with ubuntu?
