Default Linux Filesharing

My goal is to get something that resembles basic filesharing between 3 wired computers. Something easy and resembles a "drop box" to dump the files where the other PCs can access it.

Would you use Samba thats for Linux-Windows filesharing but what about Linux-Linux.
