Default Linux equivalents to popular Windows software

I found this link on another forum. I thought it might be useful to people around here. This is a table that lists Windows programs, and their equivalent open source programs.

http://linuxshop.ru/linuxbegin/win-l...en/table.shtml

Edit:

The first link posted here no longer works. Here is a link to another site with the same information. Link can also be found on the second page.

It's really amazing, if you were to add up the cost of all the programs that are in the windows collum, you would have the equivilant of Bill Gate's budget. But if you add up the cost of all of the programs in the linux colum, you could go buy a new computer! ($0)!!! I love open source.

Actually geffin, some of the items in the Linux column do cost money.

OpenOffice is the best there is...It's amazing how the guys reversed-engineered Microsoft's MS Office programs in order to make .doc, etc. available as open source.
