Default Linux assuming a host name

Hey, here one for everybody.

I had to install Linux on a tower, learn my way around, and install - compile some software on it. Either way, its on my corporate network. My Install seems to be assuming the host name of one of our servers.

Im using Mandriva 2007, and except for that, everything seemed fine. Any idea how I can prevent this and or change a setting?

You should be able to just do hostname <newname> as root.
