| Re: Linux are you talking about Cedega? I don't know. many games are starting to have linux installers, such as UT2004, and when Unreal 3 is going to come out with one. there are also linux installers you can download for other games, such as Unreal Tournament "99", so search google for a linux installer for your game.
but if neither of those are options, cedega wouldn't be a bad choice, but the other two choices would be much smoother and less lag.

"Naming them would either make it clear that Linux is not infringing at all (which is quite possible, especially if the patents are bad), or would make it possible to avoid infringing by coding around whatever silly thing they claim,"
"So the whole 'We have a list and we're not telling you' should tell you something. Don't you think that if Microsoft actually had some really foolproof patent, they'd just tell us and go, 'nyaah, nyaah, nyaah!'?"

| Re: Linux Don't use Linux and expect to play games on it unless the games you want to play have been ported to Linux. Using WINE or Cedega to play games is usually more trouble than it's worth. If you're a gamer dual booting would be the best option.

The best middle of the line distros for the average user are free.
