Default Lagging windows and srolling

About 4 days ago I opened my web browser and started scrolling and it was very laggy unlike before where it always scrolled smoothly. This also occurs when I drag my windows across my desktop. Ive installed a new web browser, checked internet settings and i still cant solve this problem. This is getting very frustrating. Any help would be greatly appreciated
I am using SuSE 10.0

Sounds like a video card driver problem. Got the latest Linux drivers for your card installed?

oh and by the way, ive been having problems with this card such as OpenGL problems that i havent been able to fix so I wouldnt be surprised if it is something related to the video card (ATI radeon 9800 Pro 256MB) and its drivers

Spyware? Linux? Funny...

You could try running xf86config (or xorgconfig), and then reinstalling the drivers again...

Perhaps post your xorg.conf file? People here may be able to spot any problems there if that's where the issue lies...
