I can not figure out how to connect to my wireless router. i access the kwifi program and it searches for a connection and doesn't find it. i am right next to the router 6 feet away

my friend told me that it is only connected to a german server when i update linux

please i need help

what network card are you using? that might be the Issue, you need 1 that is Compatible.. if you post that then I can help you out. you can check out this Link though see if that helps

What is your card there is a "high" chance it isn't nativly supported

Linux doesn't support WPA encryption by default use WEP
