Spritz2523 Newb Techie Join Date: Jul 2005 Posts: 19	knocking off aqua and using x11 im working at my high school for the summer. i just passed the mac os and portable certification test so i can pretty much do watever i want to my machine, as long as i repair it. the first thing im going to do is knock off aqua(mac os X's gui) and compile one with x11. if anyone has any tips id appreciate it.

WHY???

Most programs (ie. all Aqua apps) will not run in X11. Just get PPC Linux, and keep OS X. You can run X11 alongside Mac OS, and I suggest doing this.
