I'm using e17, (looks very nice btw) and I got the KLIK client.

It was designed for KDE and by default downloads files to /home/user/desktop

I do not have a desktop, and I don't know where it has been downloading my programs, though I assume it has been /tmp/klik/(programname)

I found the below article on configuring klik for another directory.
However, I do not know where I should place the configuration file, or where the klik client is installed. Help would be greatly appreciated.
