Default java wont install

I have fedora core 4 and i'm trying to install java..
NOTHING WORKS

i have file permission and i get errors or "file doesn't exist bullsh!t"

it says there is no file even when i COPY and PASTE it into the terminal. idk wtf is up with it. can any one help me out?

i got it to install..... and now limewire can't find its installation

you may need to direct limewire to your java/bin directory ... with azureus you have to edit a file and add the java/bin folder in some quotation marks. perhaps its the same thing. what does it say when you try to run limewire in the terminal and where is your java/bin directory?

also, gtk-gnutella is pretty nice and doesnt require java, you should try it out as well.

Just add the path of your java-installation to the file /etc/profile
