Im using RedHat Linux 9 as my second OS. Im having some difficulties connecting to the internet in RedHat. what could be the problem ???

You might have plugged the ethernet lead in back to front.

In all seriousness you haven't given us much to go on, were not mind readers. The most likely problem is that Redhat 9, being an ancient and now unsupported system doesn't have support for your particular internet connecting device whatever that is

plug in network cable to machine and mdm, open a shell and do ifconfig. Good starting point.

I agree with philg, chances are the network cables plugged in wrong lol
