i'm on ubuntu 5.10. all google-related sites load just fine, but coming to TF or myspace and what not takes forever to load, if it actually works.

when i reboot into windows everything is nice and quick. i don't get it.

myspace is a buggy website, but TF should load just fine. i would be more concerned about TF not loading right than myspace as myspace sucks and is usually slow, mostly because retards bog their profiles down with innane backgrounds and moving pictures that are actually links to photobooth.com or whatever.

what network adapter do you have?

well the only thing is.. everything works perfectly on windows.. myspace flies

but in ubuntu it's really slow, if it works at all.

i'm not infront of that machine right now, so i'll have to post again later

I have the same problem with Myspace...The General stated correctly--Myspace blows. I think my issue is the fact that I dont have all the needed plugins installed and it gets slow trying to load without them. TF doesnt give me trouble.

i guess i just needed to restart or something.. because it's working fine now.

it might have needed an update and installed it after a restart.
