| I'm trying to install Ubuntu from a second hdd to the same hdd with no luck so far, i've read tons of of pages explaining lots of diff ways to install Ubuntu and I still cant figure this out. Just incase your wondering I can't boot from a usb device or my cd drive so those options are out. Funny thing is after downloading some Ubuntu files to my download folder to try and get this thing working I'm now being presented with a dual boot option when I restart my computer, Ubuntu or Windows XP, so I guess that means I'm close to getting it to work. Here are the files I have in my dl folder: ![]() plus I have all the files from the live cd in another folder. When I choose the Ubuntu boot option there's some more options that look like file paths and some of them go to a screen that says "GRUB:" and some says I can type "TAB" for options or something. Can anyone help me along with getting this installed please. Thanks |
