Default IM new to partitioning and Linux

i have all the fedora core 4 cds and im needing to know how to install it. do i need to partion with the cds or do i use a software. any help appreciated

the cds do it jsut read, and make sure you dont overwrite windows it will get destoryed. Unless you want it too lol, but yes stick cd1 in and let me do its thing and follow the guide.

It will if you tell it to, however I don't trust this method (because I'm nuts) and use Disk Druid (the manual partitioner).

Yes it will BUT it may also overwrite your windows partition, i do the same as Macdude425 im nuts too i do it with Disk Druid cause i know where and waht its doing lol.

when you choose it. With be like a graph kind of thing a chart it will. It has a menu on there telling you all teh things you can do, You pick and type which drive you want to partition then partition it as big or small as you want. Its very easy put in a linux distro and try it out.
