Gaim is no more. It is now called Pidgin.

SourceForge.net: Gaim

CalcProgrammer1 will become famous soon enough

He probably means he still uses Gaim, that he hasn't updated to Pidgin (what would've been Gaim 2.0). I used Gaim for a long time after Pidgin's release because I don't like Pidgin's green-circles (I liked the protocol icons better) and I liked that Gaim used each client's official smiley icons rather than a default set. I'm now using Pidgin, but if these can be changed back to how they were in Gaim, I'd like to know how.

Pidgin is ok. Had to debug a couple of minor things but nothing else wrong with it. However, everyone uses MSN on my list so I use aMSN mainly.
