Default Huge sites powered by Linux

I just read about two of them, Google and Wikipedia. It's pretty impressive how they use hundreds or thousands of regular PCs running Linux for these huge sites. Does anyone know of any others?

there are millions of companies that use linux for internet related applications. Almost every hosting company has a linux plan in their lineup. I've found that linux servers are the most secure and powerfull, they also help companies because linux is free! I love opensource.

I agree. No matter what M$ says, $5000+ (or more, for large farms) worth of OS software takes a long tie to earn it's keep.

Well Windows isn't really designed for big servers, so that's why people use Linux.

So Linux really ate Sun's lunch. The web used to be run by Solaris, didn't it?

Let's leave i at this, Sun manufactures earth crumbling servers, but solaris isn't too nice for web. I can say though, that oracle is a mind blowing server, but mysql can become the equivilant, if you learn to cluster it... GO LINUX!!!
