Dansyd Newb Techie Join Date: Feb 2004 Posts: 1	How to install program in Mandrake I'm new to Linux. I just installed Mandrake 9.2 and tried to install Corel WordPerfect 8 for Linus. However, when I open the CDRom icon in my desktop and double click the "install.wp" icon, nothing seems to happen. I guess opening or running a program in Linux is quite different to runniing in Windows. Please help, thanks.

Quantum True Techie Join Date: Jun 2003 Posts: 154	Check thier Web site for install intructions. You may have to compile the app. If so, do it and it will be better suited for your distro and computer. __________________ COMPtia A+ COMPtia Network+
